The Story Of Oldold

Many who live in the modern community of Growlerville claim an ancestor they refer to as Oldold, Master Of Natural Forces. Through a lifetime devoted to observation and experimentation, this brilliant ancient discovered and harnessed huge numbers of encrusted natural resources. His legacy is the success of Growlerville, for his documented findings are the foundation for the growth of the new encrusted technologies, and the corresponding improvements in the quality of life.

The ancient cultures that produced this hero embraced and spiritualized the values inherent in nature. For him, the true grandfather was the stone below, the ancestor of all living things, and as such, he too was related to all things. It was a society where respect for the elders and their knowledge enabled prehistoric wisdom to find its way to the living.

This document is the first of many based on Oldold's numerous journals, starting shortly after his secretive exit from the Village Of Far in what is believed to be his fifteenth autumn.
